FLIR Breach PTQ136 Thermal Imaging Monocular. Possibility of mounting on a head harness or mounting a night vision device on a helmet.
An extremely compact thermal imaging monocular from the renowned FLIR Systems company. With a weight of only 220g and dimensions of 135x45x60mm, it is one of the few thermal imagers that can be worn on a head harness, just like a night vision device. Using an adapter from the FLIR rail to the Bayonet/Horn or Dovetail interface (Dovetail is much more recommended), we can mount it on various types of night vision goggle mounts on a helmet or on a head harness. Thanks to this option, you can connect it via a bridge to the night vision device on the other eye and, with the appropriate amount of training, enjoy the combination of night vision and thermal vision (it is difficult to operate this way at the beginning, but after gaining practice, this system will make sure that you do not miss anything in your observation).
The 12µm sensor and 320x256 resolution will provide you with excellent image quality. The IP67 resistance class will ensure that nothing happens to your thermal imager weather-wise, and the four-times digital zoom will help you in observation.
We recommend using a battery/power bank mounted on the helmet or harness for the thermal imager, which will extend the operating time of the thermal imager from 90 minutes to 24 hours.
